MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Guardian Angels School is to instruct students in the teachings of the Catholic Church. Guardian Angels School serves to develop the potential of each child mind, body, and soul.

VISION STATEMENT
Students shall become competent, contributing members of society according to Catholic teachings by partnering with parents to establish and enrich the student’s Catholic faith and knowledge.

WE BELIEVE
…that each person has a dignity and sacred value, which is immeasurable.

…that parents have the primary responsibility for the education of their children; they along with teachers, should promote and facilitate learning and faith development within their children.

…that teachers have the responsibility to nurture and promote the abilities of each student through the school’s education plan.

…that all students can learn and are responsible for their learning.

…that parents, teachers, and students should promote the message of Jesus through service to the school community, church community and civic community. 

EXIT OUTCOMES
All graduating eighth grade students of Guardian Angels School will:

§         Exhibit knowledge of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ as taught by the Catholic Church.

• Demonstrate Catholic moral values in daily living.

• Demonstrate skill in reading, writing, math, science, social studies, the fine arts and foreign language.
• Demonstrate skill in effectively using the tools of technology.
• Demonstrate higher order thinking skills for life-long learning.
• Be aware and respectful of individuals in their community, country and world.
• Demonstrate effective social interaction using the Guardian Angels Education Model of Social Skills.

• Demonstrate knowledge of practices essential for good health and physical fitness.

LEARNING IMPROVEMENT GOALS

1.                  Six Traits of Writing will be used to assess and improve writing skills across the curriculum.

2.                  We will continue to work on teaching and implementing the Life Skills across the curriculum
